A series of panel discussions in which women who make a contribution to the wellbeing and positive lives of women in Sandgate and surrounding suburbs discuss some aspects of their life journey. A celebration of women’s lives and the diverse choices, challenges and successes that shape us – discussions to foster connections in our community.
You are invited to Women Weaving Stories at 6pm for 6.30 start on Friday, 9th June.
Our June session will celebrate the lives of three very different women who share in common that their professional lives are oriented to what we might call “the caring professions”. Suellen Howarth, Sophie Craker and Kei Daichi, are each at different stages in their life journey, with Kei at the beginning of her professional life, Suellen looking back and Sophie right in the middle. How are their experiences, aspirations, and current perspectives similar, how has the context changed, and what is most important to each of them right now?
