Round 4 of the EmpowHer Program
An invitation to explore and investigate the Divine Feminine in relation to personal empowerment with our local practicing artists
**
On Sunday 8th September 10am-1pm
11 Second Avenue, Sandgate, Qld 4017
with presentation by Eve Baker
Scientific research has shown that making time for contemplation has several health benefits including a reduction in anxiety, depression and stress. Its practice improves overall well-being and is a vital step in the process of change. On a spiritual level it enables us to have a clearer connection to our own precious Higher Self and its innate wisdom.
One simple way of practising this is the art of slow stitching where we can lose ourselves in the process and surprise ourselves with what can be created while we “lose our minds” in the calm space of gentle activity, with Eve Baker (Dip HICAT).
Please join us for a few hours of peace and connection with your community of women – a brief timeout from your busy life, just for you – and create a Contemplation Cloth. Come as you are and relax into the gentle, peaceful space held just for you by Eve. All materials will be supplied.
Book at https://events.humanitix.com/womenspace-empowher-program-round-4-creative-sundays only 10 places are available.
While this project is supported by Investing in Queensland Women grant program (Office for Women | Department of Health), we are able to offer these sessions for a small fee of $5-$15.
