25th Anniversary of Womenspace

We would love you to come and celebrate our anniversary with us.
Whether you are a regular at Womenspace or have not even dropped in yet, we welcome you. We have a great program planned – There will be lots of friendly people to talk with.

Saturday 24th September
2pm – 4.30pm Opening of installation ‘Herstory’; afternoon tea and book-club readings; exchange of stories; viewing of a short film created at Womenspace with focus on our Spiral of seed-pods – an opportunity to add your experiences of Womenspace to the installation. Chill out with songbird Serena Stanger.
Sunday
10am call for 10.30 start
10.30am – 4pm Welcome; Chai&Chat morning with Reema Naresh; readings from our Writers group – fusing into singing interlude with Ann Bermingham; stories exchange inspired by the Installation; presentations; ‘sunny Sunday afternoon’ tunes with Emelie Dahlskold; 2pm key address by inspirational local Amanda Jackes Deputy Executive Director of Woodfordia Inc, producers of the iconic Woodford Folk Festival followed by unveiling of the Spiral Mural.
